BTI Customer Service and Sales

  Objective:

The Sales Representative is BTI’s connection to bicycle retailers. The role is tasked with building lasting and profitable relationships. You will communicate BTI’s full breadth of product, services and policies to the retailers, while learning how BTI can adapt to better serve each account.


Tasks

  • Provide industry leading customer service, via phone, email or in-person
  • Visit dealers in an assigned territory
  • Track dealer wants and needs and custom tailor solutions for each account
  • Troubleshoot customer issues
  • Identify industry trends and other growth opportunities for the company

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of previous bike shop (or similar) experience, including knowledge of the shop's purchasing habits and service area needs
  • Strong understanding of the bicycle industry and a passion for bikes
  • Technical knowledge of current bike products and standards
  • Sales driven, self-motivated, positive, goal oriented, with a high degree of professionalism
  • Can work and collaborate in an office environment
  • Comfortable using computer and phone systems
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Have an acceptable driving record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to attend events and be on the road for a week at a time
  • Exceptional time management, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Work well under the pressure of deadlines, quick thinker

Valuable Experience and Skills

  • Outside sales rep experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and CRM
  • Speak and write in languages other than English
